Allergies & Sinus Problems - Are Allergy & Sinus Medications Necessary and What About Alternatives?

Allergies and the discomfort associated with allergies and sinuses has been something I have lived with for over 20 years. I have taken prescription allergy medications 365 days a year for most of those years. My allergies and sinus problems were triggered by a number of situations including but not limited to various pollen, dust, and pet dander. I don't seem to have allergic reactions to food or medications.
I was surprised to have immediate relief from my allergy and sinus problems from a unexpected source. I had been introduced to alkaline water by a friend of mine and started to drink this water as a preventative measure. I have known that sickness and disease thrive in an acidic environment and I wanted to drink water that was high in alkalinity to flush out the acidic toxins in my body.
You can imagine my surprise when my sinuses cleared up, as I have chronic sinus problems. I had taken prescription Claritin for years and when it became a over the counter medication, my doctor switched me to Zyrtec. Now that Zyrtec is over the counter, I continued taking the Zyrtec once a day.
After less than 30 days of drinking the alkaline water, I have been able to stop all allergy medicines.
I really don't completely understand why this happened, but I have given this water to several of my friends and they have had the similar results. The best explanation I can give is the 9.5 pH alkaline water that is also full of antioxidants (many times more antioxidants than green tea), hexagonal in shape and super hydrating goes into your system within seconds. This enables your body to flush out the acidity and begin replenishing with healthy alkalinity. The combination of alkalinity and hydration seems to be have a natural healing effect.
